"Don't knock the weather.
If it didn't change once in a while, nine out of ten people couldn't start a conversation."
Kin Hubbard

Our recent battle with a lightning strike has left some of the computer related weather reporting functions posied on the precipice of hari-kari. Too dramatic? (Okay, but it feels that way.)  We are currently in the process of identifying all the circuitry that befell the wrath of Mother Nature and making repairs... and by "in the process" we mean, as malfunctions are continuing to occur, we are trying to analyze and fix them. At Monkweather.com replacement is the final option. We are still logging the Shrub weather data on a temporary hard drive, so we won't suffer weatherstorically once we reconnect with Weather Underground. Meanwhile, the widgets on this front page display the raw data directly from the weather station ... hopefully updated in a timely manner if the cable holds out. The weather links on the left and on the top of the page will still take you to the current radar (NEXRAD) for the weather in your area, as well as link to other stations nearby. Thank you again for visiting monkweather.com.
